It is interesting to note that reports of ghosts on the A541 refer to a ghost crossing the road and fatal accidents have occurred on this section of the road which could be linked to Dorothy’s story.

Looking at the map key, the layers below the surface layer remain underneath but the layers above have been removed. The Leeswood colliery locations are shown where the coal bearing layers remain.
